Opening Ceremony

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon founded New York Based Opening Ceremony in 2002.

 

with a unique concept inspired by the Olympics, each season they take a selection of country specific labels; designers are invited to ‘compete’ for sales in the store, and the most successful brands wins a permanent residency on the competitive rails.  

 

 Alongside the multiple bought in bands O.C produces a host of collaborative projects as well as its own footwear and clothing line.
